CHANGE-Part 1
While you were away, I stayed.
I stayed while you were away
Come back.
While you were out to lunch, I was at brunch.
I was at brunch while you were at
lunch,
Stuck in the middle.
While you were gone, I grew strong.
I grew strong while you were gone,
So long.
CHANGE-Part 2
I used to wanna kiss him, now I diss
him not on purpose,
something missing.
I used to think that all I ever wanted was within him
something’s different
can’t point pin it (lol)
I used to believe there was no “me”,
just drifting towards him out to sea,
no swimming
But now I know it’s up to me
do my own living,
make that difference.
*since finding myself, I’ve learned to love me even more than I did before.. and it’s a wonderful feeling. I really have been getting to know me.
