Chocolate Spotted!: Tika Sumpter

Oh Drama! Tika Sumpter’s initial breakout role was on the soap opera One Life To Live. From there, she had popular appearances on the T.V. shows Gossip Girl and The Game. She is now a force in Hollywood and has proven herself to be more than an “It Girl”. (Tika Sumpter is featured as Jason Derulo’s leading lady in the video for his song, “It Girl“) Along with being an actress, Sumpter is also a singer and a model. Tika has had few movie roles, but most of them have been in major films like “Think Like A Man”, “Salt”, and most recently a co-starring roleSparkle.  She did an AMAZING job playing ‘Delores Williams’ -the role of a young doctor-to-be. No stranger to education, Sumpter studied at Marymount Manhattan College where she majored in communications. The Queens, New York native and Hollywood’s new home girl is definitely sharing her sparkle with the world.
