The way Afro-Textured hair rises to greet the sun and effortlessly teases the sky is nothing short of simplistically beautiful. Without pause, I write you this love letter.

I see you constantly stare at me, is it the nappy hair you see?
The wild, natural, vibrant, course, free, black, high-teasing the sky
that makes you roll up your eyes
as if this texture of beauty is something you despise.
Is that squint ‘cause of dirt or
exposed envy in your eyes?
