This set is so beautiful! I can’t wait to try it. It’s called the “Packed to Go: 6 Warm Smoky Eye Shadows” and the colours included are: Shroom, Naked Lunch, Tempting, Greensmoke, Stormy Love and Showstopper.
The package is so cute and lovely! The colours included complement each other to achieve the perfect smoky eye, and the brush included is perfect to achieve this effect.
Unfortunately this set is not available through the Australian online M.A.C. store, so I had to get it shipped from the United States.
I can’t wait to wear it, I think tonight would be the perfect chance to give it a go :D
MILLENNIAL MAMI RAISING A DIGITAL NATIVE: Are you Black or are you Brown
So, I’ve become very enamored by some of the post topics that deal with issues regarding colorism, and identity within the “black” community. One of the things I’ve noticed it that we are slowly moving into yet another way of being identified.
I personally do not take issue with being called or…
I didn’t know we were switching to brown? where is that happening? i dont think that will catch on lol as for me of course i am black /african american. but if ppl want to get specific when referring to my physical feature, i am a brown or dark skinned ‘black’ person. black/african american is my ethnicity & i have no problem embracing that! :) who refers to our race as brown ppl?
I love the fact that some people want to say/believe that there is no difference when it comes to light skinned/dark skinned, & say both are equal & to “get over it” ..
that shows that they think the whole issue is ludicrous & shouldn’t even exist
BUT..
I think that it’s a form of denial. People hate to talk about this issue. It’s a taboo subject!
discrimination still exists and is alive and well
from family, friends, the media, peers..
& the inner struggle with identity with any color.
