In 2009, quotas were imposed during the Sao Paulo Fashion Week requiring at least 10 percent of the models to be black or indigenous, but one year later that requirement was eliminated. Embrace yourself! Beauty comes from the INSIDE! I never considered myself the finest person on the outside. In fact, I have always been the skinny, long and awkward, brainiac ..but I have always felt confident inside… and I have been told that it shows! Ladies, embrace yourself and your true beauty will be evident to all.
Every time I see a photo of a female model with dark hair she usually has a buzz. And they are GORGEOUS, which is fine. But I’d like to see a variety. An afro would be nice. Maybe some dreadlocks. Or hell even a Naomi Campbell wig.
It just seems like hair is for the lighter models. Just a thought.
